Who We Are

Sarah S. Plassman
MSW, LISW-S
Director / Clinical Social Worker
Meet Sarah!
Life can feel overwhelming. Maybe anxiety keeps your mind racing, relationships leave you emotionally drained, you're carrying the weight of past experiences, or you simply feel stuck and aren't sure how to move forward. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to figure it out alone.
With more than 15 years of experience in mental health, Sarah helps adolescents and adults better understand themselves, regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, and build lasting resilience. She has a special passion for helping people who want more than just a place to talk—they want practical tools, deeper understanding, and a clear path forward.
One of Sarah's favorite parts of therapy is helping clients connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, nervous system, relationships, and life experiences. She believes that when people understand why they think, feel, and react the way they do, they stop blaming themselves and start making meaningful change. Together, you'll uncover the patterns that keep you stuck and build practical skills to create healthier, lasting change.
Sarah specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, stress, self-worth, boundaries, relationship challenges, social anxiety, and life transitions. She is a Certified Trauma Therapist and integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and trauma-informed care.
For clients who desire it, Sarah is also happy to integrate Christian faith into the counseling process, thoughtfully blending evidence-based therapy with biblical principles in a way that supports each client's unique values and goals.
Clients often describe Sarah as warm, insightful, down-to-earth, and encouraging. She believes the best therapy is both compassionate and practical—providing a safe place to process life's challenges while helping clients develop the skills and confidence to move forward.
Sarah earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and serves as the Owner and Director of Agape Counseling Center.
Outside the office, she's a wife, mom, and self-proclaimed cat herder. She enjoys exploring flea markets, reading, spending time with her family, and grabbing a Starbucks refresher.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to understand yourself on a deeper level, Sarah would love to help you gain the insight, skills, and confidence to create lasting change.

Stephanie Ezea
MS, LPCC-S, CDCA
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Every Person Deserves Dignity
Hello, I'm Stephanie Hope Alexandra Ezea, MS, LPCC-S, CDCA.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me.
Before we spend time talking about what hurts, I'd like to get to know the person who's been carrying it.
Every life tells a story. I don't believe anyone can be understood by looking only at the chapter that brought them into counseling.
Pain may be one chapter of your story, but it was never meant to become the title.
My role is not to tell your story for you. It is to listen carefully, understand what has shaped your life, and walk beside you as we discover your strengths, clarify your values, identify your needs, and help you move toward the life you want to build.
I have always been fascinated by people—how we think, connect, adapt, protect ourselves, and make meaning from what we've experienced. I enjoy helping others understand how their brain, relationships, attachment style, and past experiences continue to shape the way they think, feel, relate to others, and respond to life's challenges today. Insight alone doesn't create change, but it is often the moment shame begins to loosen its grip, choices become visible again, and lasting growth finally has room to take root.
I have earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, and completed postgraduate training in forensic psychology. Today, I serve as a full-time telehealth therapist and Clinical Supervisor at Agape Counseling Center, providing care to adults throughout Ohio while mentoring developing counselors.
The field of counseling psychology continues to advance, and so should those entrusted to practice it. My patients, supervisees, and community deserve a clinician who never stops learning, growing, and refining the care they provide.
My relationship with Jesus Christ shapes every part of my life, including the way I care for those who trust me with theirs. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus consistently looked beyond labels, reputations, failures, and appearances to see the person standing in front of Him.
Jesus' example reminds me that every person is created in the image of God and deserves to be met with dignity, patience, honesty, and respect.
Whether or not you share my faith, my commitment remains the same: every individual deserves to be heard, understood, taken seriously, and treated as a whole person—not reduced to a diagnosis, a symptom, or the hardest chapter of their life.
No single approach helps every person, so therapy should never follow a script. I thoughtfully integrate trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, motivational interviewing, solution-focused interventions, psychoeducation, and neuroscience according to your goals, personality, experiences, strengths, and the way you learn best.
One of the greatest privileges of my work is watching people understand themselves with greater clarity and compassion. As understanding deepens, hope grows, confidence returns, and meaningful change no longer feels impossible.
Together, we'll examine the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns influencing your life—not to assign blame, but to understand what shaped them, what they once protected, and whether they're still serving you.
Some of the qualities people criticize most about themselves began as remarkably intelligent adaptations to circumstances they were never meant to endure.
Healing doesn't require people to despise the parts of themselves that once helped them survive. It simply asks whether those parts are still serving them.
Whether this is your first experience with counseling or you've worked with a therapist before, it would be a genuine privilege to meet you, hear your story, and walk alongside you in whatever chapter comes next.
“Then Jesus said, ‘Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.’”— Matthew 11:28 (NLT)
P.S. Wherever you are today, I hope you leave here remembering one simple truth: every person deserves dignity—including you.

Caroline Barhorst
MSW, LISW
Clinical Social Worker
Meet Caroline!

Molly Grant
MSW, LISW-S
Clinical Social Worker
Hi, I'm Molly! Whether this is your first time in therapy or you've been before, my goal is for you to leave each session feeling a little more hopeful, a little more organized, and a little more confident than when you walked in.
Since 2010, I've had the privilege of helping adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, workplace burnout, and life's many challenges. (Healthcare workers—I definitely see you!)
I believe one of the most rewarding parts of therapy is watching the pieces begin to come together. Those moments when things finally make sense, you gain clarity, and you realize there's a way forward are why I love this work.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I recognize how past experiences shape the way we think, feel, relate to others, and respond to stress. I tailor therapy to each person, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, and logotherapy.
Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can be yourself, process life's challenges, and build practical tools that help you move toward lasting wellness.
If you're looking to find clarity when life feels chaotic, I'm here to help
